JUNE 2925 'IN-SEASON HITTING CAMP' (Park District, Little League & Travel Ball)

If your Player is struggling with his Hitting, this Camp is for you. Players need training specifically designed for their ages and abilities. Come join me at my June In-Season Hitting Camp. The focus of this Camp is Player Development based. In-Season adjustments should not be an overhaul of your swing, but more of minor adjustments in your timing & mechanics as well as mental preparation prior to and while you are in the batters box. Gaining confidence thru proper preparation both physically & mentally is the key to success during the season. We will go over the players at bats from the prior week and work on areas of weakness to prepare for the upcoming week. This is done to avoid prolonged slumps and to become a consistent strong confident hitter.
Players will work on: Proper Stance and Balance, Load to Stride, Reaching proper Launch Position, Heel Connection, Proper Hip Turn, Getting Barrel on Plane while keeping hands Inside, Contact Point Focus prior to Contact, Maximum Bat Speed to Contact, Natural extension and Follow-thru. (The ability to Drive baseballs by gaining strength and bat speed will be our focus throughout this Camp)
We will also go over the Mental aspects of Hitting as well as in-game and situational hitting, including the ability to hit Higher velocity Pitching, Change-ups..etc. This Camp is always a great fun experience with a relaxed baseball learning environment.
